PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof structure that improves heat insulation property of a house. ! SOLUTION: The roof structure of the present invention comprises: a rafter 41; a pole plate 2; and a heat insulation outer wall 3. The roof structure also comprises an attic heat insulation material 52 insulating heat from a roof material 45. The outer wall 3 comprises: an interior material 32 provided on an eaves edge side of a stud 61; an exterior material 31 provided closer to the eaves edge than the interior material 32; and an exterior heat insulation panel 33 provided between the exterior material 31 and the interior material 32. An upper part of the exterior heat insulation panel 33 is disposed lower than an upper part of the pole plate 2 by a predetermined length so that the upper part of the exterior heat insulation panel 33 is not in contact with the rafter 41.
