PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve yield by preventing a light property from being varied with respect to a variation in the quantity of phosphors in a light-emitting device that is used as a white LED device or the like.SOLUTION: On a light extraction plane of a blue LED element 5, a phosphor containing film is laminated which contains YAG-based phosphor powder that is yellow phosphors. Trenches are then formed by a dicer so as to obtain a desired color temperature and divided into a transparent region 3 and a phosphor containing region 2. Therefore, total light emitted from a light emission plane of a phosphor layer is formed from broad yellow light and blue light from the phosphor containing region 2 and blue light from the transparent region 3. The color temperature depends on a concentration of the yellow phosphors in the phosphor containing region 2 and a width and the number of trenches in the transparent region 3. Thus, the concentration in the phosphor containing region 2 is made high and the variation in the color temperature with respect to the concentration variation is reduced while obtaining the desired color temperature, thereby improving the yield. |
