PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely predict the number of components necessary for inspection of a machine.SOLUTION: A demand prediction device 1 includes: a prediction unit 2A for obtaining estimated use time during which a machine to be inspected is estimated to be used after the last inspection until the next inspection on the basis of usage record of the machine; a required number calculation unit 2B for obtaining a required number that was requested per one machine in the inspection in the past regarding at least one component used for the machine according to time during which the machine was used; and a required component number calculation unit 2C for obtaining the number of component necessary for the next inspection from the estimated use time and the required number corresponding to the estimated use time.
