SOLUTION: An image data is received, and a cut mark and the received image data are printed on a medium to be recorded by a printing part. At this time, determination is made as to whether the image data includes a mark indicative of a cut position of the medium to be recorded. If it is determined that the image data includes no mark indicative of a cut position, printing of the cut mark is carried out in the printing part, and if the image data includes a mark indicative of a cut position, printing of the cut mark is not carried out in the printing part. !
