PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive unit with enhanced shock resistance.SOLUTION: A lens drive unit 1 includes: a case 2; a movable member 8 which is located in the case 2 and moves in a plane perpendicular to an optical axis C; and leaf springs 13 and suspension wires 16, which support the movable member 8 against the case 2 in a way that allows movement thereof in the plane. The leaf springs 13 are fixed to the movable member 8. Each suspension wire 16 is fixed to the leaf spring 13 at one end and to a base plate 4 of the case 2 at the other end. The suspension wires 16 movably support the leaf springs 13. The leaf springs 13 are located in a space created by the movable member 8. |
