PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit and the like capable of reducing smudging even if a diffuser vane is moved to an upward position or done the other way.SOLUTION: Provided is an indoor unit including an air outlet that includes an inner air passage wall 132B and an outer air passage wall 132A located closer than the inner air passage wall 132B to an inner wall of a room; and a diffuser vane 150 deflecting air blown off from the air outlet 132 at an angle at which the diffuser vane 150 rotates about a rotational axis 151. During operation, an outer air passage through which blown air passes between the outer air passage wall 132A and the diffuser vane 150 and an inner air passage through which the blown air passes between the inner air passage wall 132B and the diffuser vane 150 are formed, the distance between the outer air passage wall 132A and the diffuser vane 150 is reduced, and the diffuser vane 150 is made rotatable at an angle corresponding to an upward position at which a channel resistance of the outer air passage is higher than that of the inner air passage. |
