PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balancer structure of an internal combustion engine in which a balancer shaft and a crank shaft can be assembled in a crank case from the same direction, their position setting can be facilitated and their assembling characteristic can be improved.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a balancer structure of an internal combustion engine 3 comprising a crank case 30 of lateral split structure where a left case 30L and a right case 30R are combined in a direction of a crank shaft 31, and a balancer shaft 81 pivotally supported over the left case and the right case in parallel with the crank shaft. There are provided left and right bearings 47L, 47R for the crank shaft fixed to each of the left and right cases from the side of a mating surface 30a of the left and right cases and left and right bearings 84L, 84R for the balancer shaft. Left and right balancer weights 86L, 86R are attached at both end sides of the balancer shaft in such a way that they can be separated from the balancer shaft and the crank shaft and the balancer shaft are positioned and held while being held by the left and right cases. |
