PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain an electronic device that can effectively present a candidate of a character string whose input is predicted.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, an electronic device comprises display processing means. The display processing means is configure to: display one or more first strokes to be input on a screen of a touch screen display by hand writing; display a candidate character string corresponding to one or more the first strokes at a position on the basis of a position and direction where the one or more first strokes is input; and when the candidate character string is selected, display one or more second strokes consisting of the candidate character string. |
