PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot remote control system and a robot remote control method capable of visually setting the position and attitude of a tool provided in a robot relative to a target while viewing an image of a camera fixed to the robot. ! SOLUTION: A robot remote control system includes a three-dimensional marker 30 fixed to a position at which the three-dimensional marker 30 as well as a tool 12 (hand, for example) and a target 8 (workpiece, for example) is within a visual field of a camera 14 during operation of the tool 12. The three-dimensional marker 30 is set such that a shape thereof on a monitor image changes with a change in a position or an attitude of the tool 12 relative to the target 8. !
