PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel end tab for welding which has a low manufacturing cost and is reliably prevented from falling down at termination of welding work, and a welding method using the end tab. ! SOLUTION: Provided is an end tab 100 for welding which has: an abutting surface 10 abutting against a parent material side to be welded; and a dam surface 20 positioned at a bevel part of the parent material. In the end tab 100 for welding, a step surface 50 is formed extending on the abutting surface 10 to its edge part, and a through-hole 40 is formed in the step surface 50. Accordingly, since the through-hole 40 can be utilized for binding and fixing the end tab with a string S, the end tab is reliably prevented from falling down even when the end tab is detached and falls off by itself from its mounting site after termination of welding work. Further, in comparison to a structure in which a magnet is embedded to provide adsorptivity, the manufacturing costs are suppressed to low costs. ! COP |
