PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a bar-like component, and the bar-like component in which a manufacturing cost can be reduced while positioning accuracy of a pipe made of carbon fiber-reinforced resin and a metal component is improved in the case of constituting a bar-like component by connecting the pipe and the metal component. ! SOLUTION: A bar-like component 22 has a pipe 10, and body parts 20 and extension parts 21 which are arrayed in an axial direction X of the pipe 10, and the extension parts 21 include metal components 17, 18 connected to the pipe 10 from the axial direction X.
