PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timing belt device which has the high layout flexibility of a belt adjusting portion, and can improve productivity. ! SOLUTION: A timing belt device 20 is equipped with a crank timing pulley 9 provided on a crank shaft 7 rotatably supported by a cylinder block 2; an intake cam pulley 10A and an exhaust cam pulley 10B provided on an intake cam shaft 8A and a discharge cam shaft 8B; a timing belt 11; and a tensioner pulley 13 and an idler pulley 14 for adjusting a tensile state of the timing belt 11. A bracket 30 to which the tensioner pulley 13 and the idler pulley 14 are attached is disposed between the timing belt 11 and the cylinder block 2 in an axial direction of the crank shaft 7, and fixed to the cylinder block 2. !
