The present invention relates to a composition for rejuvenating aged cells wherein the composition contains as an active ingredient, Ginsenoside Rg3. More specifically, the present invention relates to a cosmetic composition, a composition for external skin application, a food composition and a pharmaceutical composition which have an effect of rejuvenating aged cells and contains as the active ingredient Ginsenoside Rg3. Ginsenoside Rg3 of the present invention has the effect of rejuvenating aged cells by recovering aged cells, for which the cell cycle is arrested, to a level of young cells.
