PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device for a front passenger seat which enables an air bag to inflate and expand in a self-supporting state and makes vibration less likely to occur in the air bag inflating and expanding to stably inflate and expand the air bag with a predetermined behavior. ! SOLUTION: An air bag device (10) of the invention includes: an inflator (13); an air bag (11); and an inner bag (20) disposed in the air bag (11). The inner bag (20) includes: a bag part (21) where a gas generated by the inflator (13) flows in to be trapped; and a breaking planned part (22) which is formed at the bag part (21) and may be broken by pressure increase of the gas trapped in the bag part (21).
