PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supply mechanism and an ink supply method by which an ink can be stably supplied to a liquid droplet discharge head, and to provide a liquid droplet discharge device equipped with the ink supply mechanism. ! SOLUTION: An ink supply mechanism 80 for supplying an ink to a liquid droplet discharge head 50, includes: an open type ink container 85 having an ink inflow port provided at one end and an ink discharge port provided at the another end thereof; an opening and closing valve 87 provided between the ink discharge port and the liquid droplet discharge head 50; a pressure sensor 86 provided on the ink discharge port side of the ink container 85; and a control part to which the opening and closing valve 87 and the pressure sensor 86 are electrically connected.
