PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of reducing a hydrogen concentration in an oxidant gas to be exhausted to the outside without using any dedicated instrument for reducing the hydrogen concentration.SOLUTION: A control apparatus 50 implements gas dilution processing (S50) that controls an air pump 21, an inlet-side sealing valve 22, an air pressure regulator 23, an outlet-side sealing valve 24, and a bypass valve 25 in such a manner that air supplied from the air pump 21 flows to an air lead-out path 20b via both the inside of a fuel cell 10 and a bypass path 20d, when starting a system. Therefore, when starting the system, hydrogen containing air led out from the fuel cell 10 is mixed in the air lead-out path 20b with air flowing in the bypass path 20d. Thus, even if the hydrogen concentration in air within the fuel cell 10 is high, the hydrogen concentration in the air to be exhausted to the outside can be reduced. |
