PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a bright finder image observable, and to enable high light-metering accuracy to be obtained. ! SOLUTION: An optical device including a focusing plate 3 having a plurality of microlenses ML comprises: a finder optical system that allows an optical image formed on the focusing plate by an image-formation optical system 1 to be observed through an eyepiece optical system 5; and a light-metering optical system 6 that has an optical axis different from that of the finder optical system, and directs one part of light scattered by the plurality of microlenses to a light-metering sensor 7.
