PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode active material, a lithium battery including the negative electrode active material, and a method of manufacturing the negative electrode active material.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a negative electrode active material, a negative electrode and a lithium battery including the negative electrode active material, and a method of manufacturing the negative electrode active material. The negative electrode active material includes a crystalline carbonaceous substrate and metal oxide nanoparticles disposed on a surface of the crystalline carbonaceous substrate, the metal oxide nanoparticles having a portion of a rutile structure. Thus, by using the negative electrode active material, high temperature stability and lifespan characteristics of a lithium battery can be improved. |
