PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple screening method of a therapeutic agent for pancreatic fistula by creating an animal model for the treatment of pancreatic fistula and finding out the physiological significance therefor. ! SOLUTION: Is provided a screening method of a therapeutic agent for pancreatic fistula employing a rodent model animal of pancreatic fistula, the model animal undergoes: pancreatic tail excision; excision of spleen together with omental; isolation of pancreas and stomach; and partial avulsion of transverse mesocolon and the pancreas. !
