PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to measure a moved position of a fastening device for fastening a screw or a nut by using a small-sized inertia sensor. ! SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a fastening device, which rotates and fastens an external screw or nut by a fastening body (2) rotated by a motor (1) provided in a main body (30), a fastening method therewith are provided. The fastening device is so configured that a small-sized inertia sensor (32) is provided on or in the main body (30), and a moved position of the main body (30) is measured by calculation with use of a detection signal from the small-sized inertia sensor (32). !
