PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter preventing forgery of an ink, excellent in forgery resistance, without being confined to an extremely faint color density in a printed image, and changed to a quite different image under reflected light and transmitted light.SOLUTION: A printed matter having a transparent latent image comprises a printed pattern having a color different from an optically transparent substrate on at least a part on the substrate. The printed pattern has: an information image formed by a first chromatically colored ink; a background image formed by a second ink having the characteristics higher in brightness and lower in light transmittance than the first ink; and the latent image partitioned by the difference of area ratios per unit area in a prescribed range using at least the second ink. The first and second inks have the same chromatic color as each other, are different in color by the difference of brightness under reflected light, and are isochromatic under transmitted light. |
