摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-detection method of electrostatic dissipation capacity for an ion generating device.SOLUTION: An ion generating device is prepared. The ion generating device includes a controller, a positive ion generating circuit, a negative ion generating circuit, an airflow generator and a detection element. A specified ratio is pre-set to the controller, and the controller controls the positive and negative ion generating circuits to emit a plurality of positive and negative ions. The airflow generator guides the positive and negative ions to a target position. The detection element detects an equilibrium voltage of the positive and negative ions at the target position, and returns a detection result to the controller. An increased and decreased amount of ions emitted from the positive and negative ion generating circuits is defined as x, an increase and decrease of an amount of ions being controlled by the controller, and an equilibrium voltage at the target position detected by the controller is defined as y. The controller determines whether or not a functional relationship including two variables of x and y is identical to a value having been pre-set to the controller. If being same, it is determined that electrostatic dissipation capacity is normal.
