PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for preventing the providing function of a guide map from being lost even when a map ASP side map server is not operable while always maintaining a guide map to a predetermined base in a latest state.SOLUTION: A map providing server 1 stores and holds the guide map image of each store in a guide map image DB, and the latest state of the guide map image is always held by update processing between the map providing server 1 and a map server 2. Terminal equipment 3 receives the provision of the guide map image of the store from a store information server 1 regardless of the operating state of the map server 2. When the provision of a map image beyond the guide map image held by the store information server 1 is requested, the store information server 1 acquires the map image from the map server 2, and provides it to the terminal equipment 3. |
