PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor and a method for manufacturing the electrophotographic photoreceptor having good cleaning property and high durability, and an image forming apparatus capable of forming images of high picture quality for a long period of time.SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a photosensitive layer formed on a conductive support body, and a surface layer formed on the photosensitive layer. The surface layer comprises: a curable resin obtained by polymerization of a compound having two or more radical polymerizable functional groups; and inorganic fine particles whose surfaces are partially formed of a metal oxide and organic resin fine particles comprising a resin including a structural unit derived from at least one of melamine and benzoguanamine, incorporated into the curable resin. The organic resin fine particles are surface-treated with a coupling agent. |
