摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work vehicle and a control method thereof which can easily prevent overspeed of a motor due to retrograde motion.SOLUTION: A requested traction force determination part determines a requested traction force corresponding to output rotational speed on the basis of requested traction force characteristics. A command torque determination part determines a command torque to a motor so as to obtain the requested traction force. A retrograde motion determination part determines that a vehicle is retrograding when a vehicle speed in a direction reverse to a travel direction corresponding to the position of a forward-backward travel operation member is equal to or greater than a prescribed speed threshold. A traction force auxiliary part executes traction force auxiliary control when it is determined that the vehicle is retrograding, and increases the requested traction force in the travel direction corresponding to the position of the forward-backward travel operation member, in the traction force auxiliary control.
