<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nip part forming member which is capable of achieving both suppression of the occurrence of an excessive temperature rise in a paper non-passing area and reduction in rise time of a fixing member.SOLUTION: As an elastic layer formed on an outer peripheral surface of a base body 4a and elastically deformed by press contact with a fixing member to form a nip part for fixing, a non-porous elastic layer 4b including a heat conductive filler 4b1 is disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the base body 4a and a porous elastic layer 4c including a heat conductive filler 4c1 and voids 4c2 is disposed on an outer peripheral surface of the non-porous elastic layer 4b. That is, the elastic layer is configured to include the non-porous elastic layer 4b and the porous elastic layer 4c different by characteristics. This configuration allows suppression of the occurrence of an excessive temperature rise in a paper non-passing area and reduction in rise time of the fixing member.</p> |
