PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an imaging apparatus capable of dealing with the production of many kinds in a small lot, especially, and suppressing lens tilt through a simple process without depending on active alignment or the like, the imaging apparatus manufactured by the manufacturing method, and a portable terminal with the imaging apparatus packaged therein. ! SOLUTION: Inclinations of a photoelectric conversion part 11a of a solid-state imaging device 11 and a reference surface 17d of a sensor cover 17 are detected and first values ((p1, P1) and points (p2, P2), (p3, P3) and (p4, P4)) representing the inclinations are calculated. Inclinations of an object-side end face 13a of a mirror frame 13 and an object-side end of an actuator 15 are detected and second values (H1 to H4) are calculated.
