摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket 30 which facilitates positioning to an upstream-side flange 13 and a downstream-side flange 21, and improves an assembling property, an exhaust system component attachment structure of a diesel engine 1, and an assembling method of the gasket 30.SOLUTION: A gasket 30 which permits the circulation of an exhaust gas, and is interposed between an upstream-side flange 13 and a downstream-side flange 21 comprises: a first penetration hole 32 which permits the insertion of a first stud bolt 135 at the upstream-side flange 13; a second penetration hole 33 which is opened at a position corresponding to a second upstream-side opening hole 133 of the upstream-side flange 13; and an erecting part 35 which is erected toward the downstream-side flange 21. In a state that the first stud bolt 135 is made to penetrate the first penetration hole 32, the erecting part 35 is constituted so that the first stud bolt 135 is made to penetrate a first downstream-side opening hole 211, and made to abut on the downstream-side flange 21 which is rotated in a rotating direction S.
