PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a rear cover from falling from a console box body due to an emergent input load, mainly. ! SOLUTION: A console box 2 comprises: a console box body 3; a lid body 6; a stopper arm 7 projected from a rear surface side of the lid body 6; and an arm guide hole 8 formed on the console box body 3. In the console box 2, a rear surface of the console box body 3 is formed of a detachable rear cover 9. The rear cover 9 has an engagement projection piece part 21 located above a tip end of the stopper arm 7 in a slightly separated state, in a state that the lid body 6 is closed. Then, when emergent input load 22 is actuated on the lid body 6 from an upper part, a first engagement part 23 engaged with the engagement projection piece part 21 is provided on a tip end side upper part of the stopper arm 7. !
