PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a main pipe joint from being warped or bent, when performing heat fusion of a saddle joint to the main pipe joint made of a resin. ! SOLUTION: A fusing method of a collection header includes steps of: inserting a bending prevention tool 16 made of a highly-rigid metal into a main pipe joint 11; performing heat fusion by a heater 24, of a joint area 13b between the outer peripheral surface of the main pipe joint 11 and a saddle part 13 of a saddle joint 12; and taking out the bending prevention tool 16 from the main pipe joint 11 after cooling a fusion area between the main pipe joint 11 and the saddle joint 12. !
