PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique allowing the manufacturing cost of a scroll type compressor to be suppressed and furthermore allowing the compressor to operate quietly.SOLUTION: A scroll type compressor 1 compresses refrigerant gas in a compression chamber 15 by orbiting of an orbiting scroll 5 induced by orbiting of an eccentric shaft 3 caused by rotation of a rotating shaft 2. A bearing 5 is a slide bearing, and a back pressure chamber 16 is partitioned into an upstream side back pressure space 16a and a downstream side back pressure space 16b by the bearing 5. In the orbiting scroll 6, a compression chamber side flow path 64 is formed via which refrigerant gas in the compression chamber 15 is delivered to the back pressure chamber 16. In the outer peripheral face of a bush 4 or the inner peripheral face of the bearing 5, a back pressure chamber side flow path 41 is formed which communicate the upstream side back pressure space 16a and the downstream side back pressure space 16b with each other. The back pressure chamber side flow path is formed while avoiding a region where the pressing force of the bush to press the slide bearing is the highest. A portion of the refrigerant gas compressed in the compression chamber 15 flows through the compression chamber side flow path 64, the upstream side back pressure space 16a and the back pressure chamber side flow path 41 into the downstream side back pressure space 16b. |
