<p>The present invention relates to a system and a method for personal authentication. According to the present invention, the system for personal authentication includes: a biometric information acquisition device which transmits biometric information for registration and unique stamp information for registration and also transmits biometric information for authentication and unique stamp information for authentication; and an authentication server that registers the biometric information by using the biometric information for registration and the unique stamp information for registration which are transmitted from the biometric information acquisition device, and enables the biometric information for authentication to be compared with the biometric information for registration when unique stamp information for authentication, transmitted from the biometric information device, is normal. Even when biometric information such as a biometric image or a generated biometric code is not separately stored during registration, illegal access of reusing the biometric information for authentication can be prevented.</p> |
