PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve search speed and reduce search noise, while reducing the work for selecting a query image.SOLUTION: A video search apparatus performs: detecting moving paths of one or more moving bodies from each of a first video formed of a plurality of frames captured in a first location and a second video formed of a plurality of frames captured in a second location, and storing them on a storage device; extracting image feature quantities of each of the frames, of a moving body selected from among the one or more moving bodies detected from the first video, and storing them on the storage device; selecting a query image feature quantity to be used as a search query, out of the image feature quantities extracted, on the basis of the moving path of the selected moving body detected from the first video and the moving paths of the one or more moving bodies detected from the second video; and searching for image feature quantities of the one or more moving bodies extracted from the second video, by use of the query image feature quantity, and outputting a result of the search. |
