According to embodiments, a sensing resistance short circuit determining device detects a short circuit of sensing resistance depending on a result which is obtained by comparing sensing voltage with predetermined standard voltage at a time point during a period which is set based on input sensing voltage and a period in which a power switch is turned on. A blanking period is set based on the input sensing voltage in a current mode. A short circuit resistance detection period is set based on input sensing voltage. Therefore, the sensing resistance short circuit determining device can sense the short circuit of the sensing resistance.
