<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and an imaging method, which can cancel flicker at a high speed camera mode even in a portable device such as a digital camera.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an image sensor 1 having a plurality of pixels which consist of a first pixel group and a second pixel group; a flicker detection section 32 which detects a bright state and a dark state of an entire photographed image in response to a periodic flicker operation of a light source included in a subject from image output from the second pixel group; and a flicker correction operation section which corrects a luminance output gain corresponding to the individual pixels of the plurality of pixels corresponding to the first pixel group so that the luminance output of the photographed image by the first pixel group becomes reference luminance output when light of luminance in the bright state and the dark state are made incident with periodic flicker.</p> |
