PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in an air compressor in which opposed pistons are integrally configured by a connecting member, and the pistons are reciprocated by a connection rod, that it is difficult to ensure reliability of a bolt when a piston pin is fixed by the bolt from an axial lower side of the piston similarly as a conventional piston structure, as a compression load in one direction is directly received by the piston pin, but the compression load in the opposite direction is received through the bolt, further assemblability is impaired when the piston pin and the piston are fixed by shrink-fitting, and costs for maintenance is increased for replacing the assembly of the connection rod and the piston in maintenance as the piston and the connection rod cannot be decomposed.SOLUTION: A piston pin is constituted to be fixed to a connection member or a connection rod by a fastening member from an oscillating direction of the connection rod. Thus a compact and light-weight air compressor of high efficiency can be provided without impairing assemblability, maintenance performance and reliability. |
