PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manipulation device which reduces an operation load and is improved in design and capable of implementing intuitive manipulation.SOLUTION: A manipulation device 1 substantially includes a plurality of ball sensors and a determination part 40. Each of the plurality of ball sensors includes: a ball 30 that is partially exposed from an opening provided on an operation surface 12 and rotates in a first direction that is a direction of operation applied to the operation surface 12 or a second direction that is inverse to the first direction; a support part 32 supporting the ball 30 in a rotatable manner; and a rotation sensor 34 for detecting rotation of the ball 30. The plurality of ball sensors are disposed on the operation surface 12 side by side in the first direction. On the basis of a plurality of detection signals outputted from the rotation sensors 34 of the plurality of ball sensors, the determination part 40 determines operations in the first direction and the second direction applied to the operation surface 12. |
