PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant flow passage switching unit having excellent compactness and safety, and a refrigeration device.SOLUTION: A BS unit 70 is disposed between an outdoor unit 110 and an indoor unit 120, and includes a first part R1, a second part R2, a third part R3, a liquid communication unit 73, a first motor-operated valve Ev1 and a second motor-operated valve Ev2. The first part R1 is connected to a suction gas communication pipe 12. The second part R2 is connected to a high/low pressure gas communication pipe 13. The third part R3 is connected to the first part R1, the second part R2 and a gas pipe GP extending to the indoor unit 120. In the liquid communication unit 73, one end is connected to the liquid communication pipe 11 and the other end is connected to a liquid pipe LP. The first motor-operated valve Ev1 is disposed at the first part R1. The second motor-operated valve Ev2 is disposed at the second part R2. At the second motor-operated valve Ev2, a minute flow passage rp in which a refrigerant flows even when its opening is at the minimum opening is formed. |
