PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical writing device and an image formation device with a high image quality implemented by suppressing an unevenness in density due to drop in in-panel power supply voltage, without adding any mechanism.SOLUTION: In an optical writing device in which current-driven light emitter groups arranged in lines are electrically connected in parallel by a power line extending along the light emitter groups and connected to a constant voltage source at one end, when a command circuit outputs a command potential corresponding to image data, a driving circuit interposed between the power line and light emitters generates a driving current of the light emitters in response to the difference between the potential at the connection with the power line and the command potential. Then the image data, before the light emitters emit light, is corrected by the amount of a drop in the potential at the connection with the power line caused by flowing of the driving current through the power line. |
