OPTICAL MODULE, OPTICAL CONNECTOR, AND OPTICAL BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module in which optical connection can be easily and accurately achieved.SOLUTION: The optical module includes an optical board 2 and an optical connector 3 optically connected to the optical board 2. The optical connector 3 includes: a waveguide part 8 for transmission light where transmission light entering from the optical board 2 is guided; a waveguide part 9 for reception light where reception light outgoing toward the optical board 2 is guided; and a transmission-reception end 11 facing the optical board 2, where the reception light outgoes and the transmission light enters. The transmission-reception end 11 includes: a lens formation part where a first lens 14 is formed on an optical axis of the waveguide 9 for reception light; and a non-lens formation part where no first lens 14 is formed on an optical axis of the waveguide 8 for transmission light. The optical board 2 includes: a light reception part 18R to be optically connected to the waveguide 9 for reception light via the first lens 14 of the lens formation part; and a light transmission part 18T to be optically connected to the waveguide 8 for transmission light via the non-lens formation part.
