PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of a deposit removal device, that damage is caused on a surface of a structure such that surface physical properties and inner dimensions of a device are altered and a discharge condition of a discharge device no longer is an optimal value, and that insulation thickness is insufficient so that the discharge device causes failure, and further that removal gas, pipes, and an exhaust treatment device, or additional installation of a power source for the deposit removal device, or the like are required for deposit removal.SOLUTION: A deposit removal device is provided with: a deposit removal tool which includes a fin for receiving wind pressure, a slider which moves relative to a deposit surface, and a scraper for wiping off deposits; a deposit detector which includes an optical receiver for receiving light from the deposits, an arithmetic unit for calculating a deposited amount from a signal of the optical receiver, and an output unit of a calculation result; and a removal determination unit for determining activation of the deposit removal tool from the deposited amount. |
