PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery method of powders in a paste in which an active material alloy is separated and recovered in a powder state in an active material paste from the active material paste discharged as a waste in a battery manufacturing step.SOLUTION: The recovery method of powders by filtration and separation from a battery paste containing powders and an organic polymer thickener includes a step of reducing molecular weight of the organic polymer thickener before the filtration and separation step.
