PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and light-weight mass flowmeter capable of measuring the mass flow rate and static pressure. ! SOLUTION: In the mass flowmeter, a strain gauge for detecting centrifugal force or centripetal force is pasted on a part in a duct for passing fluid on which the centrifugal force or the centripetal force acts, a strain gauge for static pressure/temperature compensation is pasted on a part on which the centrifugal force or the centripetal force does not act, and the mass flow rate is measured on the basis of the output difference. The mass flowmeter calculates static pressure variation due to the flow rate from the measured mass flow rate, and measures the static pressure in the duct on the basis of the calculated static pressure variation due to the flow rate and the output of the strain gauges. !
