PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent urine and stool wash water from splashing around during urination in a standing posture or the like. ! SOLUTION: Before urination or defecation into a flushing stool 1, a user forms a bubble layer 4 having a predetermined thickness over the whole area of pooled water surface 3S of stool wash water in the flushing stool 1 by using a vessel 5 provided in a lavatory. Thereby, immediately before the urination or defecation, the whole area of pooled water 3 of the flushing stool 1 is covered with bubbles whose layer 4 absorbs splashes of discharged urine and the pooled water 3 of the stool wash water to intercept the splashes.
