<p>The present invention relates to a mass storage apparatus having a plurality of mass storage mediums having an unit storage apparatus is arranged in one space, and having an integrated control portion integrally controlling the unit storage apparatus installed in the mass storage mediums. The unit storage apparatus is able to have an unit storage apparatus intentionally made with a same size as a 3.5 inch hard disk as an external size of the length, the breadth, and the height are same with the 3.5 inch hard disk. A power supply connector and a data input and output connector of the unit storage apparatus are arranged in same locations of a power supply connector and a data input and output connector of the 3.5 inch hard disk, and have a same pin shape. The mass storage mediums include a cartridge to install each unit storage apparatus. The cartridge comprises: a power slot corresponding to the power supply connector of the unit storage apparatus having the same external size with the 3.5 inch hard disk; a data slot corresponding to the power supply connector of the unit storage apparatus having the same external size with the 3.5 inch hard disk; and an external delivering connector delivering data read from the unit storage apparatus outside. According to the present invention, the mass storage apparatus having a plurality of unit storage mediums enables to increase a speed and a storage space availability by improving I/O speed of a storage system and securing a storage space.</p> |
