RESIN-COATED CORK STOPPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new resin-coated cork stopper having stable openability while maintaining sealability peculiar to cork stopper.SOLUTION: A core part 4 is constituted by a cork stopper body 2 and a resin-coated layer 3. The cork stopper body 2 is made by compression molding in a centripetal direction and provided with a mounting hole 20 to mount an umbrella part 5 formed from one end part 2a toward the other end part 2b along an axis L direction. Compression stress at the time of a moisture content of the core part 4 of 6 wt.% is 100-300 N and smaller than compression stress at the time of a moisture content of the core part 4 of 2 wt.% by 100-150 N when press-fitting the core part 4 to a hollow cylindrical part at an interference of 1.5 mm.
