PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collection tool that is required for manufacturing a magnesium alloy having a long-period laminated structure with a large melting furnace and is used for accurately measuring the quality of a molten metal at any position inside the melting furnace. ! SOLUTION: The collection tool 1 of the present invention is a collection tool of a molten metal for collecting a molten metal in a melting furnace. The collection tool includes a support member, a bottom surface member connected to the support member, and an outer peripheral member that is connected to the bottom surface member and covers the periphery of the support member. The outer peripheral member and the bottom surface member can form an internal space around the support member.
