PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage regulator with improved response time. ! SOLUTION: A voltage regulator 100 of the present embodiment comprises a comparison circuit 20 and a voltage division circuit 110. The voltage division circuit 110 has a PMOS transistor T6 connected to a voltage source VDD and resistances R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 connected to between the transistor T6 and reference potential in series. Feedback voltage generated at a node N3 between the resistance R4 and the resistance R5 is supplied to the comparison circuit 20.
