PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use a storage area in which print data for executing a retention print function is saved without wasting.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus (10) has a print setting comparison part (18) which compares the file name of print data with the file name of print data saved in a storage part (13) when the print data is newly input through a network interface (19) etc., and further determines whether the print data saved in the storage part (13) and the newly input print data have the same printing settings and data contents respectively when the file names match each other. Then a control part (11) changes and saves the file name of the newly input print data in the storage part (13) when the newly input data have the same file name, but has different print settings or data contents. |
