PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor device that can enhance awareness of passengers to a risk of making the passengers caught in a gap between a step and a skirt guard with a simple structure. ! SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor device comprises: a skirt guard 7, erected at a side portion of a step 3 endlessly running, an upper end of which is fixed to a deck base 6; a handrail panel erected above the opposite position of the step 3 of the skirt guard 7; an inner deck 8, provided between the handrail panel and the skirt guard 7, whose portion near the skirt guard 7 is fixed to the deck base 6; and a mall 9 that is arranged at a connection portion between the upper end of the skirt guard 7 and a lower end of the inner deck 8 to protrude toward the step 3, where an illumination portion 10 capable of irradiating a gap G between the step 3 and the skirt guard 7 is provided in the mall 9. !
